Hyderabad: Telugu actor Aadi Saikumar’s upcoming film Shambhala is generating strong buzz ahead of its grand release on December 25. Speaking to the media on his birthday, December 23, Aadi shared insights into the film’s making and expectations.

“Shambhala has turned out really well. I’m confident the audience will enjoy it,” he said. The actor acknowledged the tough competition during the Christmas release, especially with Srikanth’s family film Champion, wishing it success.

Aadi highlighted the film’s technical and visual elements. “The action sequences, especially the climax, are stunning. Raj Kumar Master worked closely with director Ugandhar on rehearsals, and the 1980s period costumes were chosen carefully,” he noted. On VFX, he added, “Though limited, the shots were executed meticulously. The background score by Sricharan Pakala elevates the entire film.”

Regarding songs, Aadi said the film has few tracks, as the genre didn’t require them. “Every piece of content we released increased expectations. Films like Shambhala are best experienced in theatres,” he emphasized.

He also touched upon on-set challenges, including night shoots in cold conditions and a minor injury during a fire sequence. Praising Ugandhar and the producers, he added, “They made the film with immense passion, sparing no expense.”

When asked about a sequel, Aadi said, “If the audience makes it a hit, we’ll definitely plan Part 2.” A Hindi version is also in the pipeline, set to release after the Telugu version receives positive talk.
