Additional Collector inspects anganwadi centre, school and PHC

NTR District Additional Collector (Local Bodies) Dr. K. Kiranmayi on Wednesday visited the Anganwadi Centre, Mandal Parishad Primary School (MPPS) and Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Nandigama mandal headquarters and reviewed the ground-level conditions at the facilities.

During her visit to the Anganwadi Centre, Dr. Kiranmayi inspected the nutritional food being provided to children, attendance, pre-school education and the overall maintenance of the centre. She instructed the staff to ensure that children receive quality nutrition and are provided with a better learning environment.

She later visited the MPPS and reviewed student attendance, teaching methods, basic infrastructure and the learning levels of students. She advised teachers to pay special attention to ensure that students receive quality education. At the PHC, the Additional Collector inspected the medical services being provided, staff attendance, availability of medicines and the services extended to patients.

She directed officials and staff to ensure that government healthcare services are delivered to the public in a timely and efficient manner. Dr. Kiranmayi instructed officials of the concerned departments to coordinate and resolve the issues identified during the field visit and take necessary steps to provide better services to the public.
