Actor Kirti Kulhari-led globally acclaimed drama ‘Full Plate’ is finally coming home
After a prestigious international debut—World Premiere at Busan International Film Festival followed by opening the Indian Film Festival of Sydney—'Full Plate' is gearing up for its grand India premiere at the upcoming Dharamshala International Film Festival.
Helmed by Tannishtha Chatterjee, 'Full Plate' will premiere at the 14th edition of the festival, which will run from October 30 to November 2.
“After travelling across international shores, Full Plate is finally coming home — and I couldn’t have asked for a more special homecoming than the Dharamshala International Film Festival,” said Kulhari about the film, which chronicles a poignant story of food, faith, and the human spirit.
“There’s something profoundly moving about sharing this story with audiences here in India, where its emotions and essence truly belong. DIFF feels like the perfect place for Full Plate - rooted, thoughtful, and full of heart. I’m deeply grateful that our film’s India premiere will happen amidst the mountains and magic of Dharamshala,” the actor added.
In ‘Full Plate,’ Kulhari takes on yet another challenging role of bringing to the spotlight the journey of a homemaker with a talent for cooking, fighting customs, patriarchy and stereotypes while keeping her quirky spirit alive.
‘Full Plate’ also features actors Sharib Hashmi, Indraneil Sengupta and Monica Dogra. It is produced by Ashutosh Goswami and Anup Chitnis (Ashutosh Entertainments), and Mohaan Nadaar and Ketki Pandit (Teamo HQ Productions Ltd).
'Full Plate' will be Kulhari's third feature film of the year, after the ZEE5 film 'Hisaab Barabar' and her big screen outing 'Badass Ravikumar'. Next up, Kulhari will stun the audience as she returns with the fan-favourite title Four More Shots Please! Season 4
