The online registration and application process for recruitment into the Indian Army under various categories has commenced for the Recruiting Year 2027. Aspiring candidates can now submit their applications through the official website. The recruitment notification for unmarried youth under multiple categories of Agniveer was published on 13 February 2026 on the official portal www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Applications are invited from domiciles of all 33 districts of Telangana under the Army Recruiting Office (ARO), Secunderabad.
These include Adilabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Hanumakonda, Hyderabad, Jagtial, Jangaon, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Jogulamba Gadwal, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Khammam, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mahabubnagar, Medak, Mahabubabad, Mancherial, Medchal Malkajgiri, Mulugu, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Narayanpet, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Peddapalli, Rajanna Sircilla, Rangareddy, Sangareddy, Siddipet, Suryapet, Vikarabad, Wanaparthy, Warangal, and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri.
Eligible candidates may apply for any two categories, subject to meeting the prescribed criteria. Notably, the upper age limit for all Agniveer categories has been increased from 21 to 22 years.
The Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE) will be conducted in 13 languages, including Telugu. Additional bonus marks will be awarded to candidates possessing ITI, Diploma, and NCC qualifications.
The application process is strictly online through www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The last date for submission of applications is 01 April 2026. Admit cards for the Online CEE, tentatively scheduled between 01 June 2026 and 15 June 2026, will be available for download from the same website.
