Saiyaara is winning hearts nationwide, with debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda impressing audiences, many even drawing comparisons to Aashiqui 2. Earlier today, Shraddha Kapoor, who played Aarohi in Aashiqui 2, expressed her love for Saiyaara, calling it 'pure cinema.' In response, Ahaan penned an emotional note for the actress, recalling how he had assisted her during her 2016 film Rock On 2 and how she made him feel seen at a time when very few did, calling her 'magic.'

Re-sharing Shraddha's review, Ahaan wrote on his Instagram story, "Working under you on Rock On 2, being assigned to fix your piano, the serendipity of assisting on a rock music film, to getting to be a part of one... I remember you taking out the time to speak to me for a few seconds, and your words weighing heavy on me. You made me feel seen at a time when very few did, in such a small short conversation, and that's why you're magic."

He added, "Maybe a little glimmer of that magic spilled onto me, and that's why the universe allowed me to have this moment." On Tuesday, Shraddha took to Instagram and shared a video of herself clapping and hooting during Ahaan and Aneet's scene in Saiyaara, and wrote, "Saiyaara’s Aashiqui ho gayi hai mujhe."
