The All India Professionals Congress (AIPC), through its Architects Domain Telangana, organized a high-level conclave titled "Envisioning Sustainable Cities: Conversations on Urbanization and Sustainability" in Hyderabad. The event brought together policymakers, urban professionals, architects, planners, environmental experts, academicians, industry leaders, resident welfare associations, and civic representatives to discuss the future of urban growth in Telangana and across India.

Anchored in the vision of Telangana Rising and Hyderabad Vision 2047, the conclave emphasized urban development beyond infrastructure expansion and economic growth. Discussions focused on human well-being, environmental balance, social equity, cultural continuity, and long-term resilience as essential indicators of sustainable urban progress. Organizers highlighted the importance of aligning professional expertise with governance priorities while promoting a quality-of-life and Gross Happiness Index-oriented approach to city planning.

The forum aimed to foster a shared conscience and creative conversation to shape sustainable, inclusive, and future-ready cities for Hyderabad and Telangana. It was designed as a solutions-oriented platform that can inform policy, advance sustainability, and strengthen public life, with relevance at both state and national levels.

Discussions were framed within the global context of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, with particular focus on SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities, seen as central to achieving the broader development framework.
