Amulya Emerged Hyderabad Open Champion

The grand Prize Distribution Ceremony of the Hyderabad Open – India’s Premier Amateur Golf Championship was graced by His Excellency Shri Jishnu Dev Varma, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, as the Chief Guest on Saturday, 21st February 2026, at the prestigious Boulder Hills Golf & Country Club. Conceptualized by the TGolf Foundation, the Hyderabad Open marked a historic milestone in India’s amateur golfing landscape.

Out of 320 golfers, in a thrilling finale, 

AMULYA emerged as the Hyderabad Open Champion (Gross Winner), receiving a cheque of ₹90,000, a prestigious custom-made crystal trophy engraved with Hyderabad monuments Buddha statue and Charminar, a GolfTripz Voucher including 3 Nights and 3 Rounds of Golf at Phuket - Thailand, an iPhone 17, and a Godrej Safe and a Green Jacket. SWETHA GULLAPALLI  secured the Gross 1st Runner-Up position with ₹50,000, a trophy, GolfTripz Voucher including 3 Nights and 3 Rounds of Golf at Phuket - Thailand and a Vivo Phone. 

ABHISHEK MITRA claimed the Gross 2nd Runner-Up title, receiving Cheque ₹30,000, a Trophy, Mumbai Trident – Nariman Point Complimentary Voucher for 2 Nights valid till 31st August 2026 and a Vivo Phone. 

Addressing the gathering, His Excellency commended the TGolf Foundation for its visionary leadership and impeccable execution of the championship, expressing confidence that the Hyderabad Open will elevate Hyderabad as a premier golf destination while advancing the vision of Rising Telangana 2047 and strengthening golf tourism in the state.

The championship saw 320 golfers — including 60 from outside Hyderabad — compete in the Stroke Play qualifiers, with the top 100 advancing to the final on 21st February, showcasing exceptional skill and sporting spirit on the 18-hole championship course.The Hyderabad Open stands as a powerful testament to excellence, discipline, and the growing momentum of amateur golf in India — a beginning that promises to grow bigger, stronger, and more inspiring in the years ahead.
