The Telugu film Anaganaga Oka Raju, starring star entertainer Naveen Polishetty, has emerged as a major highlight of the 2026 Sankranthi. Released on January 14, the comedy-drama has been showering audiences with laughter and touching emotional moments. Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios, the film marks the directorial debut of Maari. Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead, with supporting performances from Rao Ramesh and others. 

In just two days, it grossed a massive Rs 41.2 crores worldwide, according to the makers. This prompted the team to organize a special “Thank You Meet” to express their gratitude to fans, media and collaborators. Naveen Polishetty, visibly elated, extended Sankranthi greetings and thanked the media for their support. He highlighted how the film brought joy to the Sithara Entertainments team, especially seeing producer Naga Vamsi's smile. Naveen credited mentors Trivikram and Chinna Babu for their trust, noting that the retained episodes are now winning applause. 

Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi expressed deep satisfaction. He thanked audiences, media, distributors for strong support despite competition, and the team, including Naveen and Meenakshi, who dedicated a year to the project.  

Meenakshi Chaudhary thanked audiences for the phenomenal response, calling the film special and crediting the team's hard work. Director Maari congratulated the team on the blockbuster, noting how the film delights all ages and has made the hard work worthwhile.
