‘Anakapalli’ makers confident of success

The makers of the upcoming Telugu film Anakapalli expressed confidence that the film's emotional narrative will resonate with audiences when it releases on August 7. Produced under the Bhavya Sri Movie Makers and Nakkina Narratives banners by Kondregula Naidu and Trinadha Rao Nakkina, the film stars Vikram Sahidev, Sandhya Vashishta and Tarak Ponnappa in lead roles. Directed by Khagesh Thammeneni, the film also features Trinadha Rao Nakkina in a pivotal role, besides serving as the story and screenplay writer.

Trinadha Rao Nakkina described it as a love story set in a small town with strong family emotions at its core. He said the film was shot entirely in Anakapalli to preserve its authenticity and added that the film aims to reconnect today's Gen Z audience with family values. Producer Kondregula Naidu said filming in his hometown proved to be a memorable experience. The makers also praised the performances of the actors and added that composer Dev Jand's music and background score are among the film's major highlights.
