Anchor Vishnu Priya lodges complaint against YouTube channel

Popular television actress and anchor Vishnu Priya Bheemaneni has taken a strong stand against vulgar comments and character assassination of female celebrities on social media. She lodged a complaint at Miyapur Police Station on Friday against the YouTube channel ‘Play Like Incognito’. The actress accused the channel of spreading false and obscene information about her and other women celebrities. Police have registered an FIR and initiated an investigation into the matter. 

Speaking to reporters after filing the complaint, Vishnu Priya alleged that the woman running the ‘Incognito’ channel is making whatever comments she likes about every female celebrity and is presenting wrong information as correct to the audience. Vishnu Priya clarified that the issue is not limited to her alone. “This is the problem of every girl in the industry,” she said. She warned that she would ensure strict action, including strikes on such channels, and vowed not to spare anyone indulging in such defamation in the future.
