Andhra Pradesh is positioning itself as a preferred destination for international investments across high-growth sectors such as electronics, semiconductors, shipbuilding, port development, pharmaceuticals, artificial intelligence, medical research, and green energy. This was the central message of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s official outreach during his visit to Singapore, where he met diplomats, business leaders, and even NRIs to promote Andhra Pradesh’s revamped industrial policies.

In a series of high-level meetings, CM Naidu engaged with business leaders, Singapore-based corporates, and Indian diplomats to showcase Andhra Pradesh’s updated industrial roadmap and opportunities for collaboration. During discussions with Indian High Commissioner to Singapore, Shilpak Ambule, both sides explored prospects in healthcare, aviation, green hydrogen, and port infrastructure. Naidu emphasized Andhra Pradesh’s ambitions to become a global hub for green energy, citing plans to produce 160 gigawatts of renewable energy and launch hydrogen initiatives in Visakhapatnam and Kakinada with NTPC’s support.

In his meeting with Surbana Jurong officials, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu invited the firm to collaborate on the state’s large-scale “Housing for All” initiative. Meanwhile, Eversendai Corporation Berhad is considering setting up a state-of-the-art fabrication facility and an integrated training center in either Visakhapatnam or Krishnapatnam. Spanning 200,000 square meters, the proposed unit would cater to both domestic and international fabrication needs. The company expressed a keen interest in partnering with institutions like IIT Tirupati and IIIT Sri City to develop a structural engineering training program.
