In a landmark move to modernize agriculture, the Andhra Pradesh government is gearing up to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into farming practices. AI-powered solutions will analyze soil composition, predict weather patterns, and suggest suitable crops based on land conditions. Farmers will no longer have to rely solely on traditional methods; instead, AI will guide them on when and what to plant for optimal yields.
Additionally, smart irrigation systems integrated with AI will monitor soil moisture and automatically operate motorized pumps, ensuring that crops receive the right amount of water without wastage. Automated drones and machinery will assist in sowing seeds, reducing dependency on manual labor.
Farmers will receive real-time alerts on their mobile phones regarding potential threats to their crops, such as pests or diseases. If AI detects a pest infestation or nutrient deficiency, it will instantly notify the farmer and recommend the appropriate pesticide or fertilizer, preventing crop loss.
