In a student-friendly initiative, the Andhra Pradesh government has introduced a QR code feature on Class 10 (SSC) hall tickets this year to help students easily locate their examination centers.
The new facility has been implemented to address the difficulties many students faced in previous years while trying to find their allotted exam centers, particularly in large towns and cities. Officials said the QR code printed on the hall ticket will allow students to quickly access the exact location of their exam center.
By simply scanning the QR code using a smartphone, students can view details such as the exam center address, route map, and directions, enabling them to reach the venue without confusion or delays. Authorities believe this digital feature will reduce last-minute stress for students and ensure they arrive at the examination center on time.
The redesigned hall ticket also includes important details such as the student’s photograph, roll number, examination schedule, the LEAP app reference, and the official government seal. School managements have been instructed to download the hall tickets and distribute them to students.
In addition to the QR code facility, the government has also provided another convenience for students appearing for the examinations. Students will be allowed to travel free of cost in APSRTC buses during the examination period by showing their hall tickets, helping them commute easily to their exam centers.
