Director Jayashankarr whose film “Ari” roles is set for a worldwide theatrical release on October 10, said that it would be an entertaining film based on Hindu puranas and epics. In a recent interview, director Jayashankarr spoke in detail about the highlights of the film. He said that the story of “Ari” deals with conquering the Arishadvargas (the six inner enemies mentioned in Hindu philosophy - desire, anger, greed, attachment, pride and jealousy). At the same time he also stated that the film would be narrated in an entertaining manner without being preachy.
He said that he chose actors like Vinod Varma, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sai Kumar, Viva Harsha and Srikanth Iyengar in key roles as they perfectly fit the characters. He also informed that VFX work would be one of the film’s major attractions. He also informed that eminent personalities like Venkaiah Naidu, writers Malladi Venkata Krishna Murthy and Yandamoori Veerendranath watched Ari and appreciated it. “Venkaiah Naidu garu called it a modern Bhagavad Gita, saying that even youth who haven’t read our epics will understand their essence through this film. We made this film for that spiritually inclined audience.” the director informed.
The director expressed his confidence that the film will get strong openings because audiences always support meaningful cinema. He also expressed his happiness that the producers were very supportive and that they had “not just taste but also courage”. The movie is being presented by Ramireddy Venkateshwara Reddy (RV Reddy) and produced by D Srinivas Ramireddy, Sheshureddy Maramreddy, Dr. Thimmappa Naidu Purimetla and Biram Sudhakar Reddy under the banner of ARVY Cinemas and is being distributed through Asian Suresh Distribution.
