Rapper Badshah sparked backlash for saying he'd “rather make babies” with Dua Lipa than collaborate, with netizens calling it “creepy.” 

Rapper Badshah recently found himself in trouble after making a bold comment about British singer Dua Lipa. It all began when he sent her love on X (formerly Twitter) by posting a simple red heart emoji. While the tweet itself went largely unnoticed, his cheeky response to a fan's question about a possible collaboration with Dua quickly drew attention. When asked if he would ever work with the singer, Badshah replied, "I'd rather make babies with her, bro." The remark sparked widespread backlash online, with several netizens calling it "cheap" and "creepy," slamming the rapper for what they deemed an inappropriate comment.

Now, Badshah has finally addressed the criticism surrounding his remark about Dua. Taking to X on Saturday, the rapper defended himself, saying, "I think one of the most beautiful compliments that you could give to a woman that you really admire is to wish for her to mother your children. Meri soch nahi, tumhari soch saamne aayi hai."

Soon after Badshah clarified his statement, he faced fresh backlash for calling it a "compliment." One user commented, "Kaisa wahiyat cover-up tha bhai," while another questioned, "Since when did 'rather make babies' start translating into 'I want her to be mother of my kids'???"

On the work front, the Jugnu singer is currently gearing up for The Unfinished Tour in the United States. The tour will kick off in Virginia on September 5, 2025. and conclude in Chicago on September 20, 2025.
