The teaser for Bhagavanthudu, the upcoming film starring young talent Thiruveer in the titular role, was unveiled on Friday in Hyderabad by heroes Sundeep Kishan and Vishwak Sen. Directed by debutant G. G. Vihari (also credited as Gopi Vihari), the movie is a romantic period political action drama set against the backdrop of the Palnadu region.
Faria Abdullah essays the female lead while Kannada actor Rishi features in a pivotal role. Produced by Ravi Panasa under Ravi Panasa Film Corporation (Production No. 1), with presentation by Asian Films' Narayan Das Narang and Panasa Shankaraya Goud, the film boasts a strong technical crew: cinematography by Raj Thota, editing by Praveen Pudi and music by KP (making his Telugu introduction).
The launch event saw enthusiastic praise from industry figures. Producer Seven Hills Satish and director Madhura Sridhar Reddy lauded Ravi Panasa's long-awaited entry into production. Director Venu Udugula (who connected the team) called it a story "bound to succeed." Thiruveer recollected that he expressed full trust in the script from the first hearing, committing instantly.
Faria Abdullah emphasized departure from her comedic roles, and Rishi praised the director's vision and producer's passion despite budget challenges. Sundeep Kishan praised the teaser's impact and Ravi's planning, while Vishwak Sen shared personal anecdotes and wished for a blockbuster. The film is gearing up for a summer (April) release.
