Congress MLA Beerla Ilaiah accused BRS of obstructing welfare initiatives at every step. He alleged that BRS leaders amassed wealth through irregularities in the Dharani portal and claimed the Congress’s new “Bhubharathi” policy would address these issues.
“While Congress is working for public welfare, BRS is insulting the Dalit Speaker and showing disregard for democratic principles,” he said. Ilaiah condemned the BRS’s behavior and stated that Congress would continue to hold them accountable.
Congress MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy said, “The opposition leader KCR who doesn't attend the Assembly has no understanding of farmers' issues. The debts they incurred have turned Telangana into a burden.”
KCR will no longer come to the Assembly, he knows that the ruling party has all the corruption data. He knows that if he comes, he will lose his value. Akbaruddin, observing their behavior, said it was ten years of garbage governance. Harish Rao and other party leaders were shaken by Akbaruddin's words.
Reddy said it is known to all parties that only one family benefited from Dharani. They think the Assembly is a boxing ring. They don't know the procedures followed in the assembly, they are acting as they did during KTR's tenure. There is no one to correct them.
Seeing those tearing papers in the Assembly, Akbaruddin called it garbage behavior. BRS lacks the basic knowledge that even LKG and UKG children have. The Assembly will discuss their ten years of scams, who they colluded with, and how much injustice they did. We will run the Assembly for as many days as it takes to tell the truth. We will not suspend them.
Congress MLA G. Madhusudan Reddy said, the 'Bhubharathi' Act is a great decision and a game-changer. People faced many problems due to the Dharani portal, with nearly 2 million patta lands added to the prohibited list.
MIM's Akbaruddin said that only the Kalvakuntla family benefited from Dharani and called the BRS a garbage party, evident from their behavior in the Assembly. We discussed with farmers for a year and introduced the Bhubharathi Act bill in the Assembly. They are obstructing the Assembly because canceling Dharani would expose their misdeeds.
BRS MLA Palla Rajeshwar Reddy strongly criticized the Congress for repealing the Dharani Act and replacing it with the Bhu Bharathi Act. He argued that the Dharani Act benefited 75 lakh farmers by giving them land rights to 1.5 crore acres, creating transparency in land transactions and significantly reducing corruption.
BRS MLA K.P. Vivekananda criticized the Congress-led Assembly sessions for being chaotic and poorly managed. He pointed out that the sessions were being conducted without following proper rules and procedures, which he believed was a sign of the government’s failure to govern the state effectively.
He mentioned that the Chief Minister’s lack of experience was contributing to the growing number of issues, which had caused the public to lose faith in his leadership.
Vivekananda also accused Congress of using Revanth Reddy’s case against KTR as a distraction tactic to divert attention from their own unfulfilled promises, including the six guarantees and 420 promises made during the elections.
He condemned the physical attacks by Congress MLAs on BRS members during the debates and accused them of resorting to violence instead of engaging in a constructive discussion.
