BJP State President  N. Ramachandra Rao will Undertake a 2-Day Hunger Strike from today demanding the state government to release fee reimbursement dues of 40 lakh students. In a statement, the party spokesperson Gautam Rao revealed the program schedule of Ramachandra Rao.

He said that their party president would hold the strike at their party’s state office. He alleged that the education system in the state had completely collapsed due to the anti-education policies and negligent attitude of the Congress government and added that the government had withheld the fee reimbursement arrears amounting to approximately Rs 15,000 crore funds that serve as a lifeline for the higher education of the students from the poor and middle-class backgrounds.

He said that the lives and futures of nearly 40 lakh students across the state had been plunged into uncertainty and added that To stand in support of these 40 lakh students and protest against the Congress government's negligence, the Bharatiya Janata Party was launching  a direct agitation.

He said that Strongly condemning the anti-people stance of the Congress party which has jeopardized the lives of 40 lakh students by withholding fee reimbursement arrears totalling around Rs 15,000 crores, their party president took the decision after witnessing the anguish of the youth, who are losing job opportunities and seeing their higher education stalled because their college certificates are being withheld. He made it clear that their struggle would not cease until the Congress government is compelled to release every single penny of the Rs 15,000 crore in outstanding dues.
