The Telangana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party celebrated the alliance’s victories in Assam, West Bengal and Puducherry with festive enthusiasm at the state office. Led by State President N Ramchander Rao, party leaders and activists gathered in large numbers, distributed sweets, burst crackers and raised slogans in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Senior leaders including D K Laxman, Aleti Maheshwar Reddy, Anji Reddy, Kasam Venkateshwarlu and N V Subhash took part in the celebrations. The event also saw several medical professionals joining the party under the Doctors Cell, with Rao welcoming them.

Addressing the media, Rao said the induction of minority members from Kukatpally reflected growing trust in the BJP and dismissed allegations that the party was against any religion. He reiterated the government’s commitment to inclusive development under Modi’s leadership.

Rao criticized Asaduddin Owaisi and Akbaruddin Owaisi, alleging they hinder women’s political empowerment. He also claimed voters had rejected divisive politics and expressed confidence that Telangana would follow suit.

He urged people to attend Modi’s public meeting in Secunderabad on May 10.
