Bollywood Music Project rocks Mumbai

The eighth edition of the Bollywood Music Project (BMP) 2025 wrapped up in spectacular fashion, drawing over 12,000 music lovers across two unforgettable days. Cementing its status as Asia’s biggest Bollywood music festival, BMP united legends, chart-toppers, and emerging talent on a single, electrifying stage.

Day 1 was headlined by Padma Shri and Grammy Award-winner Shankar Mahadevan, joined by Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa. Their three-hour musical odyssey featured classics like Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho, and O Rangrez. Farhan Akhtar and Shaan followed with funk-rock renditions of Senorita, Toh Zinda Ho Tum, and more. Percussion maestro Sivamani stunned audiences with a fusion of konnakol, jazz, and tribal rhythms.

Day 2 closed with Salim–Sulaiman’s powerhouse set featuring Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai and Chak De India. Neha Bhasin, Usha Uthup, and Bismil lit up the stage, while Hargun Kaur 

delivered ethereal Punjabi Sufi-folk performances.

Other notable acts included Anu Malik, Baba Sehgal, Shaarib & Toshi, and Abhijeet Sawant. With genre-spanning performances and world-class production, BMP 2025 stood as a celebration of rhythm, nostalgia, and cultural unity.
