Security at the Nampally criminal court complex was thrown into a state of alert on Thursday after authorities received a bomb threat. An email sent to the court claimed that an explosive device had been planted inside the premises and could detonate at any moment. The alarming message prompted immediate action from court officials, who quickly informed the local police.

The Hyderabad police promptly dispatched their bomb disposal and detection units to the scene. Teams carried out a comprehensive inspection of the entire court complex, checking all rooms, corridors, and public areas for any signs of explosives. The operation caused temporary disruption to normal court proceedings as security personnel ensured that no risks were left unchecked.

Due to the threat, entry into the court was strictly restricted. Advocates, staff, and members of the public were asked to wait outside until the anti-sabotage checks were fully completed. After a detailed sweep of the premises, the bomb disposal teams declared that the threat was false, confirming that there was no explosive device on the site.

The incident highlighted the importance of swift coordination between court authorities and police forces in responding to security threats and ensuring the safety of everyone present at the court complex.
