Mumbai, August 2026: BondsIndia, a SEBI-registered Online Bond Platform Provider (OBPP), has arranged India’s first AI-led Non-Convertible Debenture (NCD), marking a significant milestone in the evolution of the country’s corporate bond market. The issuance by AI solutions company Prisma Global Limited (Prisma AI) closed at ₹200 crore, opening a new avenue for investors to participate in India’s rapidly expanding technology and artificial intelligence ecosystem through the fixed-income market.

The bond offering opened with a base issue of ₹50 crore and witnessed an overwhelming investor response, attracting subscriptions of approximately ₹390 crore. The issue was fully subscribed within the first hour, with bids reaching nearly eight times the initial issue size by 3 PM on the opening day. Following the strong demand, the ₹150 crore greenshoe option was exercised, taking the final issue size to ₹200 crore.

The NCD has been assigned an ACUITE A / Stable rating, with Mitcon Credentia Trusteeship Services Limited acting as trustee. The securities are listed on the National Stock Exchange.

Commenting on the milestone, Mr Ankit Gupta, Founder, BondsIndia, said, “The strong response to this issuance reflects investor confidence not only in the issuer and the transaction, but also in the changing India’s corporate bond market. For a long time, fixed-income opportunities have largely been concentrated around financial services and a few traditional sectors.

We see a significant opportunity to bring credible non-financial businesses — including manufacturing, technology and other emerging sectors — to the bond market. As these businesses scale, debt markets can become an important alternative source of growth capital, while giving investors greater sectoral diversification. The success of India's first AI-led NCD is an encouraging step in that direction.”

Shreeram Iyer, Chairman, Prisma Global, said, “We are strategically focused on expanding our impact in India while leveraging our global technology capabilities and international partnerships. The strong response to this issuance reflects growing investor confidence in AI-led businesses with real-world applications. Our association with BondsIndia has helped us access the debt capital market and connect with a wider investor base. This successful issuance will support our next phase of growth as we scale our technology and expand its application across critical sectors.”
