CARE Hospitals to build Rs. 600 Crore

Quality Care India Ltd. (QCIL) has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from MAHA-METRO to develop a 350+ bed state-of-the-art CARE Hospitals in Nagpur. The LoA was exchanged in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.

The project involves an investment of approximately Rs. 600 crore and will be situated near Kasturchand Park Metro Station. This multi-specialty facility is designed to provide advanced tertiary and quaternary care, featuring specialized centers for cardiac sciences, oncology, gastroenterology, trauma, and neurosciences.

"This project reflects the importance of public-private partnerships in building accessible healthcare beyond metros," said Mr. Varun Khanna, Group Managing Director of QCIL. Dr. Pawan Kumar, CEO of CARE Hospitals, emphasized that the investment is a deliberate step toward strengthening regional healthcare capacity in Tier 2 cities.

The hospital is expected to create over 1,500 direct and indirect jobs, positioning the Vidarbha region as a major healthcare destination in Central India. It will become operational in a phased manner, offering high clinical standards and strengthening the city’s social infrastructure.
