Gudimalkapur Agricultural Market Committee Chairman Thalari Mallesh Mudiraj on Thursday inaugurated 92 CCTV cameras installed at a cost of Rs 17.5 lakhs.
The program was graced by chief guests Traffic ACP Munawar, Market Committee Vice Chairman Kavali Chandrasekhar, Traffic CI Anjaiah, members of the Gudimalkapur Agricultural Market Committee governing body and other staff.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Thalari Mallesh stated that the CCTV cameras have been installed to ensure the welfare of both farmers and consumers. He mentioned that these cameras will help in preventing illegal activities and thefts within the market yard. He further assured that the governing body and the government will always remain committed to the well-being of farmers in every possible way.
