In his address, CM Revanth Reddy lauded Akshaya Patra’s service-oriented approach and reiterated the government’s focus on strengthening school nutrition programs, emphasizing that nutritious meals improve education outcomes, health, and well-being.

Spread over two acres, the upcoming kitchen will serve fresh, hygienic, and nutritious mid-day meals to 28,000 children across 312 government schools in Vikarabad and Narayanpet districts. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the kitchen can cook rice for 1,000 children in 15 minutes and Sambar for 5,000 in under two hours. Sustainability features include biogas generation, RO-treated water systems, an effluent treatment plant, and solar power, ensuring eco-friendly, zero-discharge operations. The CM toured an exhibition highlighting Akshaya Patra’s 25-year journey in combating classroom hunger. The event concluded with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque and the dignitaries serving meals to children, symbolizing a shared commitment to child nutrition.
