Anil Kumar all tahsildars of the district and concerned officials. The meeting focused on several important initiatives including "Mana Janaganana – Mana Abhivrudhi" (Our Census – Our Development), self-enumeration, protection of government lands, scrutiny of sadabainama applications and implementation of the "Mana Isuka Mana Vahana" sand vehicle scheme.

Speaking during the meeting, the Collector highlighted that the 2027 Population Census is going to be the largest public participatory exercise in the country. In this context, the self-enumeration program will be conducted in district from April 26 to May 10. The collector requested citizens to visit the official self-enumeration portal (se.census.gov.in) and obtain their “Self-Declaration” ID. She advised that when census enumerators visit homes between April 26 and May 10, citizens should provide this ID to the survey staff.

She explained the importance of the census, stating that accurate population data will form the foundation for future policy planning, proper distribution of resources, development schemes, and improvement of facilities such as schools, hospitals, and roads in every area. The collector assured citizens that all personal information provided during the census will be kept completely confidential as per the Census Act, 1948. She appealed to the public to provide accurate and complete information when survey staff visit their homes.

The collector informed that approximately 1,764 personnel have been appointed for conducting the census in the district. Training has already been completed for them in two phases. Wide publicity is being given through print media, electronic media, and social media platforms. All necessary arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth conduct of the census.
