Congress leader campaigns for panchayat polls

As part of the panchayat elections in the Mahabubnagar constituency, senior District Congress Party leader Marepalli Surender Reddy (MSR), following the instructions of MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy, participated in a door-to-door campaign in Vepur village of Hanwada Mandal. 

He appealed to the people to vote for the Congress-backed Sarpanch candidate, Mala Anjaneyulu, and support the symbol “Football.”He urged the villagers to ensure the victory of the Congress candidate with a huge majority, stating that the welfare schemes being implemented by the Congress government and the development of the village can continue only if the Congress-backed candidate is elected.
