The Cyberabad police have solved the murder of Renuka Agarwal, a housewife found dead in her Swan Lake Apartments flat in Kukatpally three days ago. On Saturday, three suspects were arrested in connection with the crime.
According to officials, domestic workers Harsh and Roshan, who had recently joined the Agarwal household, were the prime suspects and went missing after the incident. Investigations revealed that Harsh planned to rob the family. On Wednesday, after Renuka’s husband and son left for work, Harsh and Roshan tied her up and murdered her. They looted gold jewellery, cash, and watches before fleeing to Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty stated that five special teams were formed to trace the accused. Harsh and Roshan were arrested in Jharkhand, along with Raju Varma, who gave them shelter.
Further investigation revealed Roshan Singh had a criminal background, with three prior cases in Jharkhand. He had been working in another flat in the same complex, waiting for the right moment. After meeting Harsh, the two conspired to carry out the crime.
