Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy participated in festive interactions at his residence in Kodangal on Friday. Large numbers of party workers, leaders, and local residents gathered to greet the Chief Minister and convey their wishes. MLAs Rammohan Reddy and B Manohar Reddy, along with key leaders from the constituency, were present. CM Revanth warmly met each visitor, sharing festive joy in an atmosphere filled with devotion and celebration.
Later, the Chief Minister accepted an invitation from Congress leaders in Kodangal, including Waqf Committee member Yusuf, and joined them for a traditional lunch. The programme saw enthusiastic participation from local leaders and activists, reflecting the festive spirit of Dasara.
Meanwhile CM Revanth Reddy celebrated Dasara with his family and his siblings at his native village of Kondareddypalli in Vangoor mandal, Nagarkurnool district on Wednesday. Accompanied by his siblings and grandson, he received a rousing welcome from villagers and Achampet MLA Vamshi Krishna. The Chief Minister offered prayers at the Anjaneya Swamy and Kota Maisamma temples and performed the customary Jammi Puja, before walking through the streets to personally greet villagers. He described the occasion as an emotional reunion with his “village family,” underscoring his strong bond with his roots.
On Friday, the Chief Minister returned to Hyderabad and went to Jubilee Hills to pay his last respects to senior Congress leader and former Minister Ramreddy Damodar Reddy, who passed away due to ill health. CM offered floral tributes to the mortal remains and consoled the bereaved family, calling Damodar Reddy’s demise an irreparable loss to Telangana politics.
