The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Shobhan Reddy has directed officials to prioritize and swiftly resolve the 149 complaints received through Prajavani, which was held at the GHMC head office on Monday.
During the Prajavani program, a total of 44 complaints were received. These included 10 complaints for the Town Planning department, 7 for the Engineering (Maintenance) department, 5 for the FA section, 3 for the Sanitation department, and 2 complaints each for the tax, health, administration, housing, electrical, and UBD departments. Additionally, one complaint each was received for the entomology, lakes, advertisements, IT, sports, vigilance, and estates departments.
Across the six zones under GHMC, a total of 105 complaints were received. Kukatpally Zone had 50 complaints, Secunderabad Zone had 12, Serilingampally Zone had 18, Charminar Zone had 7, LB Nagar Zone had 13, and Khairatabad Zone had 5 complaints.
Through the Prajavani phone-in program, four complaints were received and forwarded to the respective departments for immediate resolution.
Additional Commissioners Shiva Kumar Naidu, Nalini Padmavati, Pankaj, Geetha Radhika, Raghu Prasad, Yadagiri Rao, Venugopal Reddy, Additional CCP Gangadhar, UBD Director Srinivas Rao, LEO Ramulu Naik, Deputy CE (SNDP) Venkateswara Rao, and other department officials participated in the program.
