Dhanush starrer ‘Kara’ to release on April 30

Hyderabad: The upcoming film “Kara” starring Dhanush and directed by Vignesh Raja is all set for a theatrical release in Telugu on April 30, 2026. The Telugu version will be released by CH Sathish Kumar & Rajesh Kumar Bobbara under Vigneswara Entertainments - R Star Logistics. Produced by Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh under Vels Film International Ltd, in association with Think Studios and Vigneswara Entertainments.

The film’s buzz has been built across multiple fronts. The Telugu version of the song Kannamma Naa Kannamma has clocked over 4.1 million views on YouTube, creating a connection with the audiences. The film stars Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, along with a notable supporting cast including Jayaram, K. S. Ravikumar, Karunas, and M. S. Bhaskar. On the technical front, Kara has cinematography by Theni Eswar, editing by Sreejith Sarang  and music by G. V. Prakash Kumar.
