Pradeep Rawat’s son reveals his father never wanted to be an actor
Actor Pradeep Rawat’s son, Vikramaditya Rawat, opened up about his father’s aspirations and revealed that acting was never his first career choice.
Speaking exclusively to IANS, Vikramaditya revealed that his father had always dreamt of becoming a soldier before fate eventually led him towards the film industry. Recalling his father’s personality and the values he passed on to him, Vikramaditya said that Pradeep was extremely self-reliant and believed in hard work, faith and destiny. He further revealed that his father had always dreamed of seeing him become a star.
He said, “If my father was here, he would have been a very self-reliant man. I mean, even if he had 10 rupees in his pocket, and the food was for 20 rupees, he would not have asked anyone for 10 rupees. I have learned one thing from my father that you do hard work, believe in God, and leave it to fate.”
“My father wanted me to become a star, I decided, now I will become one. Let’s see where fate takes me. Actually, no one knows this. My father wanted to become a soldier before becoming an actor. My grandfather was a soldier. He could not become a soldier, that’s why fate brought him into acting,” he added.
Vikramaditya stated, “Otherwise, he never wanted to become an actor. He wanted to become a military man. By God, when he left, he looked like a soldier.”
