Hyderabad: The makers of the highly anticipated Tamil-Telugu historical drama Draupathi 2 have unveiled the striking first look of Rakshana Induchoodan as Draupathi Devi. Positioned at a pivotal point in director Mohan G.’s narrative, the character adds emotional depth and dramatic weight to the sequel.

Produced by Chola Chakravarthy of Netaji Productions in collaboration with G M Film Corporation, Draupathi 2 expands the 2020 blockbuster into a grand historical canvas set in the 14th century. The story explores the reign of Hoysala emperor Veera Vallalar III, the resistance of the Kadavarayas of Sendhamangalam, and the turbulence of the Mughal invasion of Tamil Nadu.

Rakshana’s first look captures the poise, strength, and cultural depth of Draupathi Devi, anchoring the sequel’s emotional core. Joining her are Richard Rishi, Natti Natraj, Y G Mahendran, Nadodigal Barani, and others. With Ghibran Vaibodha composing music and Philip R Sundar handling cinematography, the film promises a visually rich and historically immersive experience.
