Dwarka Shankaracharya alleges conspiracy against Shankaracharya

Shankaracharya Swami Sadanand Saraswati Maharaj of Dwarka Sharada Peeth has categorically described the allegations leveled against Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, the Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath, as completely false and politically motivated. He termed the accusations a deliberate conspiracy aimed at tarnishing the reputation of Hindu Sanatan Dharma's spiritual leaders.In a strongly worded statement, Swami Sadanand Saraswati asserted that the charges represent a calculated attack on acharyas of Sanatan tradition. 

The Dwarka Peeth Shankaracharya emphasized that those who are truly authentic saints and mahatmas will ultimately stand in support of Swami Avimukteshwaranand. In contrast, those who have mistaken political power for truth will align with authority. He further criticized modern political parties—both ruling and opposition—for continuing efforts originally started by colonial powers to distort and undermine Sanatan traditions. "We want our country's rulers to be religious and principled," he stated. 

He alleged that the current controversy is a malicious attempt to divert attention from the cow protection issue, but asserted that such efforts will ultimately fail, even if they take time. The statement comes in the context of recent legal developments involving Swami Avimukteshwaranand, including a POCSO-related case registered against him in Prayagraj, which he and his supporters have dismissed as fabricated and politically driven.
