Dy CM Bhatti takes holy dip at Saraswati Pushkaralu

The Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, along with his family, participated in the auspicious Saraswati Pushkaralu by taking a holy dip at the Triveni Sangham in Kaleshwaram on Friday evening. The Deputy CM was warmly welcomed at the venue by IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu.

As part of the rituals, Bhatti Vikramarka, accompanied by his spouse, offered a saree to the river goddess. The family then visited and offered prayers at the revered Maha Saraswati Devi Temple and Sri Kaleshwara Mukteswara Swamy Temple.

Later in the evening, the Deputy CM and his family also attended the spiritually significant Sri Saraswati Navarathnamala Harathi at Saraswati Ghat. This elaborate ritual, conducted by priests from Varanasi for over 30 minutes, has become a highlight of the ongoing Pushkaralu celebrations, drawing significant attention and admiration from the pilgrims.

Meanwhile, the number of devotees arriving for the holy dip during the Saraswati Pushkaralu is steadily rising on the second day of the event. In response, Minister Sridhar Babu has instructed officials to ensure adequate and effective arrangements for the convenience and safety of all pilgrims.
