ECG Foundation takes its ‘Green Mission’ from TG to USA

The Environmentally Conscious Globalization (ECG) Foundation, Telangana has been carrying forward its environmental mission other parts of India also. With more than 2 crore saplings planted so far, the Foundation continues its journey towards “Green Globalization for a Better and Healthy Nation.” Under the guidance of renowned pediatrician, environmentalist and tree conservationist Dr. Markandeyulu, thousands of nature enthusiasts from different fields have joined this ecological movement.

As part of the ECG mission “Think Globally – Act Ecologically,” ECG Core Member Sudhershan, former Principal of the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) and a President Awardee, carried the ECG message to the United States and organized a plantation drive with his family. Reacting to the initiative, Dr. Markandeyulu warmly appreciated Sudhershan and his entire family for carrying the ECG philosophy beyond India’s borders.

He further stated that “Think Globally – Act Ecologically” is not merely a slogan but a way of life. ECG Foundation aims to encourage people wherever they are to plant trees, protect biodiversity, reduce pollution and create healthier surroundings. The USA plantation drive represents an important step in taking ECG’s green philosophy from Telangana to Indiaú and from India to the world.
