A six-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Data Science and Analytics for Decision Making: Tools and Techniques, sponsored by the AICTE under the ATAL Program, commenced at Bhaskar Engineering College, Moinabad, on December 15, 2025. The program is designed to enhance faculty skills in data analytics and its application in decision-making.
Around 60 faculty members from institutions including JBIT, JBREC, CBIT, KG Reddy, GITAM University, and BEC are participating in the event. The inauguration included a lamp-lighting ceremony attended by Gouriprasad M., Program Director-Data Analytics at YASH Technologies, Principal Sumagna Patnaik, Prof. Ch. Sanjay, Director of JB Education Society, and FDP Coordinator N. Vijay Kumar.
The sessions cover analytics techniques, tools, and their practical use in decision-making processes. The first session was conducted by Raheem Ahmed Khan from the Humanities and Sciences Department at BEC. Coordinated by N. Vijay Kumar from the CSE Department, the program provides hands-on exposure and practical insights into emerging data science technologies.
The FDP also encourages collaboration among faculty from the participating institutions. It is expected to strengthen knowledge-sharing and equip educators with skills to integrate data-driven decision-making into their academic and research activities.
