Female students accuse CMR College of hidden cameras

Students of the CMR Engineering College in Medchal have staged a massive protest on Wednesday night in front of the girls' hostel. They are alleging that CCTV cameras have been installed in the hostel bathrooms.

They are making sensational allegations that videos are being recorded while they are taking a bath. The police have reached the spot due to the students' concerns. An investigation has been launched based on their complaint.

However, the police are expressing suspicion on the people who cook in the hostel. Four suspects have been detained and are being interrogated. Meanwhile, this incident is causing a lot of commotion locally.

After learning about the matter, National Students Union of India(NSUI) leaders met the students. Later, they joined them in protesting again in front of the hostel today. They are demanding that the accused be arrested immediately and punished severely.

They are shouting slogans like "We want justice". They are demanding that the hostel warden Preethi come out.

On the other hand, the parents of the students who came to know about the matter through TVs and newspapers rushed to the college. On the other hand, Medchal ACP Srinivasa Reddy along with his staff rushed to CMR College. He spoke to the students and asked them to call off the agitation.

However, the young women made it clear that they would not call off the protest until the accused were caught. Following this, the ACP spoke to the parents of the students. He appealed to them to convince them to call off the agitation. However, the students are not backing down. To this extent, the police have detained four suspects.
