The much-anticipated horror-comedy “Bhootham Praytham” is gearing up to entertain audiences with a mix of scares and laughter. Horror-comedy films have long been popular, as their combination of suspense, supernatural elements, and humor appeals to viewers across all age groups, offering a thrilling yet entertaining cinematic experience.

The film features Yadamma Raju, Gully Boy Bhaskar, Bigg Boss Emmanuel, Balveer Singh, Gaddam Naveen, Pavan Shetty, Raajesh Dhruva, and Radhika Achuth Rao in prominent roles. Written and directed by Raajesh Dhruva, the movie is produced by B. Venkateshwara Rao under the banner of Srujana Productions.

Blockbuster director Anil Ravipudi recently unveiled the first look poster and motion video of the film. He expressed his delight at supporting the young cast and crew, recalling his previous collaboration with them on the comedy show “Comedy Stock Exchange,” and extended his best wishes for the film’s success.

The first look poster captures the lead actors with expressions of fear, setting the tone for the horror-comedy. The motion video begins with a spooky birthday scene in a haunted house, featuring balloons, a cake, a voodoo doll, and a burning candle. The mood quickly turns humorous as five men appear with exaggerated, shocked expressions, hinting at a funny yet frightening encounter with supernatural forces. The video ends with a ghostly hand creeping toward the characters, emphasizing the film’s mix of horror and comedy.

Carrying the tagline “GET READY TO DIE… LAUGHING!”, the movie is scheduled for a 2025 theatrical release. The technical crew includes cinematographer Yogesh Gowda, editor Ujwal Chandra, music director Girish Hothur, production designer and co-director Radhika Achuth Rao, assistant director Sathish S Araleshwar, and art director Devi Prakash Shetty, promising a visually engaging and entertaining experience.
