Four jailed for marijuana smuggling

Sangareddy: The Sangareddy First Class Additional Sessions Court sentenced four men Rathod Mohan, Rathod Venkat, Ketavath Pandu Nayak, and Rathod Mothiram to 10 years in prison and Rs 1 lakh fine each for transporting 102 kg of marijuana. The February 2021 arrest by Zaheerabad Excise and enforcement officials led to their conviction. The court emphasized strict action against drug trafficking and urged public cooperation to curb illegal drugs in the region.
