Israel on Sunday flew its warplanes over Beirut in South Lebanon consistently for over four hours. Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA) said the Israeli airstrike on southern Beirut killed four people. According to the report, at least 39 people were injured. An Israeli air strike targeting Kfar Hatta in Sidon killed seven people, including a four-year-old girl, it said.
Furthermore, the Lebanese army announced the killing of one of its soldiers in an Israeli strike in Kfar Hatta town. The man was identified as Hussein Ali Nahale. He was 19.
Meanwhile, Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency said US-Israeli attacks targeted the international airport in southwestern city of Ahvaz. No casualties were reported in the attack on Qasem Soleimani International Airport.
