The Tourism Committee of the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) is set to organise a first-of-its-kind Tourism Reel / Shorts Making Bootcamp on January 17, 2026, aimed at transforming travellers into skilled digital storytellers and boosting weekend tourism promotion around Hyderabad.

The three-hour indoor workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at CreatorWerse, Jubilee Hills, followed by a unique outdoor, hands-on experience at three tourism locations on January 24. The bootcamp is being organised in the backdrop of the ongoing FTCCI Weekend Tourism Reel Contest, with the objective of increasing participation and improving the quality of entries.

Conducted in partnership with CreatorWerse – India’s First Content Factory, the bootcamp will be led by Dr. Mani Pavitra, Founder of CreatorWerse, an ISB alumnus, serial entrepreneur and well-known content mentor. Participants will be trained in the art of creating impactful, engaging and viral tourism reels using just a smartphone.

With access to 52 state-of-the-art Story Rooms, the programme will offer practical exposure to scripting, shooting, editing, publishing and optimising reels for social media. The focus will be on showcasing weekend getaways, staycations, heritage sites, adventure spots, food trails and nature destinations across Telangana.

The bootcamp is open to travellers, tourism enthusiasts, resort and homestay owners, tour operators, vloggers and beginners interested in content creation. Limited to 50 participants, the workshop is offered at a nominal fee of Rs. 500 on a first-come, first-registered basis.

Apart from skill development, participants can enhance their chances in the FTCCI Reel Contest, which carries cash prizes worth Rs. 50,000, while also becoming part of a growing community of travel creators. For registrations, interested participants may contact FTCCI at 98480 42020 or 91210 00199.
