The District BRS Party Office in Gadwal town witnessed grand celebrations of “Vijay Divas” on December 9, commemorating the historic day that marked Telangana’s statehood. The event was organized under the guidance of BRS Working President KTR, with party leaders and activists participating enthusiastically.

The celebrations began with garlanding the statue of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and performing milk abhishekam to the Telangana Thalli statue, followed by a similar tribute at the portrait of Telangana’s first Chief Minister KCR within the party office. Fruits were also distributed to patients at the District Government Hospital in Gadwal as part of the outreach activities.

Speaking on the occasion, BRS Party In-charge of Gadwal Constituency Basu Hanumanthu Naidu and former Municipal Chairman B.S. Keshav emphasized that the spirit of Vijay Divas must be carried forward to future generations. They recalled the intense parliamentary struggle for the Telangana Bill, highlighting KCR’s sacrifices, hunger strikes, and unwavering commitment that inspired the statehood movement. They also paid homage to the activists and students whose sacrifices laid the foundation for Telangana.

Senior party leaders, including Nagardoddi Venkataramulu, Venkateshwar Reddy, former Market Yard Vice Chairman Yusuf Monesh, former councillors Srinivas Reddy, Venkatesh Naidu, and others, along with youth members and activists from various villages, actively participated, reaffirming their dedication to the Telangana movement and public welfare.
