GHMC honours women sanitation workers on Women’s Day

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) honoured women sanitation workers for their dedicated service on the occasion of International Women’s Day on Sunday.

Under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban), GHMC organised the “Nari-Led Swachhata” programme at Jayaprakash Nagar in Yousufguda Circle. Officials appreciated the efforts of women workers and local women actively supporting cleanliness initiatives.

They stated that women sanitation workers play a vital role in maintaining Hyderabad’s cleanliness and public health, describing their work as a symbol of commitment, resilience, and civic responsibility.
