Gold and silver prices remained unchanged in the national capital on Friday due to muted demand from jewellers and retailers, according to the All India Sarafa Association.
Silver prices held steady at ₹2,37,000 per kilogram, while gold of 99.9% purity was unchanged at ₹1,51,500 per 10 grams, both inclusive of taxes.
Traders said bullion prices moved in a narrow range as global markets were closed for Good Friday, limiting fresh cues.Subdued local demand also contributed to the flat trend. Market participants are now awaiting global market reopening for further price direction. Any volatility in the dollar or crude oil prices could influence bullion demand, while festive and wedding season demand may provide some support to prices.
