A Timeless Cinematic Tribute to the Telangana Armed Struggle

“Golla Ramavva”, a powerful cinematic adaptation based on the Telangana Armed Struggle written by the late former Prime Minister of India, Bharat Ratna P. V. Narasimha Rao, is all set to premiere on ETV Win from January 25. The film features Talluri Rameshwari in the title role and is expected to leave a lasting impact on Telugu audiences.

Directed by Mullapudi Vara, this rousing and emotionally stirring heroic saga has been produced jointly by Ram Vishwas Hanurkar and Raghavendra Varma (Bujji) under the banners of Suchetha Dream Works and Varma Dream Creations. Young and talented Azhar Shaikh played a key role as the Executive Producer and also contributed significantly by providing the lyrics for the film.

The trailer launch event of “Golla Ramavva” was held grandly and was attended by several distinguished guests. P. V. Prabhakar Rao, son of P. V. Narasimha Rao, and his daughter, MLC Smt. Surabhi Vani Devi graced the occasion. Renowned lyricists Kasarla Shyam and Maunasri Mallik, prominent actor Rajeev Kanakala, “Razakar” director Yata Satyanarayana, and senior director Uday Bhaskar also attended the event and congratulated the film’s director and producers.

Speaking at the event, Smt. Surabhi Vani Devi expressed her appreciation, stating that “Golla Ramavva”, one of her father’s most powerful stories, has been beautifully and faithfully brought to the screen. The entire film team expressed pride and gratitude for being associated with such a meaningful and historically significant project. The same team produced “Mauname Nee Bhaasha” for ETV Win, which received an excellent response from viewers. With “Golla Ramavva”, they are confident of delivering yet another memorable and impactful cinematic experience. The makers stated that the film will secure a permanent place in the hearts of Telugu people.
