The 67th Annual Grammy Awards took place on Sunday at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and were hosted by Trevor Noah, with the premiere ceremony streaming earlier on YouTube via the Recording Academy's channel. For the Indian audience, the Grammy 2025 will stream LIVE exclusively on Disney Plus Hotstar.

After 50 years

Beyonce continues to make history, this time by becoming the first Black woman to win a Grammy in the country music category in half a century. The cultural icon took home the Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration with Miley Cyrus on the song "II Most Wanted."

Already the most-awarded Grammy artist in history, she previously surpassed conductor Georg Solti in 2023, making her the all-time leader in Grammy wins with 32. Beyonce entered the 2025 Grammys with 11 nominations, including nods for Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Cowboy Carter. The previous record holder for Best Country Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group was The Pointer Sisters in 1975.

The Uninvited Nude Guest

Kanye West and Bianca Censori once again found themselves in the spotlight at the 2025 Grammy Awards, but this time, it wasn’t just for their fashion choices. The couple reportedly showed up uninvited, making a brief but dramatic appearance before being escorted out.  

Rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, is no stranger to making headlines at the Grammys, but it was his partner Bianca who grabbed all the attention this time. Bianca, known for her daring sheer ensembles, arrived in a revealing, barely-there dress that immediately set social media on fire with reactions. 

She initially covered up with a long black fur coat but later removed it to showcase the bold see-through outfit. True to her signature style, the former architect skipped any jewellery or additional garments, letting the sheer mini dress speak for itself.  

Bianca is an Australian architectural designer who has been working with Kanye's brand, Yeezy, for several years. Originally from Melbourne, she pursued her studies in architecture at the University of Melbourne before relocating to the United States. Her association with the rapper began when she joined Yeezy as an architectural designer, a role that placed her directly within his creative orbit.

The Big Miss

Indian music lovers were left furious after tabla maestro and four-time Grammy winner Zakir Hussain was noticeably absent from the In Memoriam segment at the 67th Grammy Awards. The apparent oversight by the Recording Academy has sparked outrage on social media, with fans calling out the organisers for failing to honour the legendary musician. Zakir Hussain passed away at the age of 73 in San Francisco in December 2024. He died due to complications arising out of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, the family had said in a statement.

During the event, the Grammys honoured musicians such as Liam Payne, Kris Kristofferson, Cissy Houston, Tito Jackson, Joe Chambers, Jack Jones, Mary Martin, Marianne Faithfull, Seiji Ozawa, and Ella Jenkins.
