The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South East Zone team, Hyderabad along with the Rein Bazar Police arrested 22-year-old habitual property offender and seized net cash of Rs 5,97,800 from his possession.

Accused identified as Shaik Hafeezuddin, working as a wall painter, resident of Shah Colony in Dabeerpura in Hyderabad. The accused got addicted to bad habits and to earn easy money, he started committing thefts. He had already committed several thefts and went to jail, but he did not change his behavior.

On July 11, he went near Waheedunnisa Begum Masjid, near Ganga Nagar Nala. There, he saw a big crowd and decided to steal valuables. He opened the dickey of a Scooty using a duplicate key and found a black polythene cover with a large amount of cash inside. He stole the cash and ran away from the spot. A case was registered and investigation started. Based on a tip-off, the police caught him and recovered the stolen cash.
