Hyderabad: The Hare Krishna Golden Temple in Banjara Hills celebrated Gita Jayanthi with devotion and spiritual fervor, attracting thousands of devotees to honor Lord Krishna’s divine discourse the Bhagavad Gita. The day-long festivities highlighted the timeless teachings that continue to inspire people worldwide.

The celebrations began with a heartfelt Sampoorna Gita Parayanam, where devotees collectively chanted all 700 Sanskrit verses of the Bhagavad Gita, creating an atmosphere of deep devotion. In the evening, a focused session featured the recitation and explanation of 108 key slokas, emphasizing the Gita’s philosophical wisdom and practical relevance in modern life.

A special highlight was the Children’s Gita Parayanam, with 1,008 students from local schools reciting 108 important slokas, demonstrating devotion and discipline.
