Minister for Medical and Health SatyaKumar Yadav on Wednesday directed The Director, Secondary Health, Dr. A. Siri to conduct a full-fledged inquiry into the death of Pregnant lady Tama Sirisha (25) at The Government Hospital, Polavaram and take necessary action. The Eluru DCHS  told the top officials that a preliminary inquiry has revealed that the doctor and obstetricians on duty did not respond in time and provide timely treatment to the death of the pregnant woman at the Polavaram Community Health Centre (CHC) in the wee hours of Wednesday. He said a full-fledged inquiry has been ordered into the matter and disciplinary action will be taken if it is found that there was negligence in providing treatment. The preliminary report has been sent to Eluru District Collector and also to the Secondary Health Director, the DCHS said in a statement.
